A 38 Super Taurus!
Look at what Taurus has decided to do now:

Actually, they have three models of this pistol: a blued slide with appropriate frame, the stainless slide and clear anodized frame and the Mother of Pearl griped with gold accents blinging corner pimp pistol version.
Anyone seen one of these things yet?

Nope, but I like the renewed interest in 38 Super. I might have to get one just so I can go out and buy more dies, more brass, more bullets and more magazines.
Actually, the 38 Super is a great round. It was the first 9mm +P+ and works well through guns with magazines long enough to handle 10mm and 45 ACP. It is also an excellent choice in those parts of the world where civilians cannot legally posses a handgun that is chambered in a military caliber. The stupid little semi-rim is the only potential fly in the ointment, but then there are some alternatives that are rimless like the 38 Super Comp.

I wouldn't imagine that the rim on the .38 Sup would be a concern on a single stack like the new Taurus. Now in double stack mag, that's a different story.
My 38 Sup Witness would sometimes gag in the mag because of the semi rim. When I converted that bad boy to 9x23, the mag binding stopped.
