40 super barrel

That is, if I bought a 400 Jarvis barrel for my Sig or H&K USP could I shoot both or just the Corbon 400 out of that one barrel?

No, the dimensions are definitely different. I was hoping
for this as well when the .40 Super came out, as I'd
already had .400 CB barrels (Bar-Sto) for 2 of my guns.
(Sig P220 and HK USPc)

Could you give me all of your thoughts and observations on the 400 Corbon load and the Jarvis barrel please? I am seriously thinking about ordering the barrel for my full size H&K USP .45acp.

I have no experience with Jarvis barrels, so I cannot
comment on that aspect. The .400 Cor-Bon round is
essentially a way to fire 10mm in a gun that is not
available for that most excellent (and God's choice)
of calibers, thus the reason I have them in my SIG
and HK. It's a decent cartridge, but needs a hand-
loader to bring it out, since Cor-Bon is the only
source for factory loads. I much prefer the raw
power of the .40 Super, but I'm sure it would shorten
the life of a firearm (though my .45 Compact has yet
to see any visible stress-I check it often with Zyglo
for cracks and keep fresh springs in it). I don't think
I would be comfortable running .40 Super in a SIG, but
who knows, maybe it could take it. I hope this helps.
