| A highly modified Desert Eagle
I believe this is the first 50 AE Desert Eagle I built. This monster of a pistol required a great deal of work to make it slightly pleasant to shoot. This pistol had a 3 port comp which I designed specially for. To install it the barrel had to be turned on the bore line to give a step of about 1/8 in to accurately hold the comp to the bbl. Much care was taken so the turning didnt effect the gas lines which were close to the bbl end. After welding the area was finished. I also made a bore gage that went through the comp and into the bbl to assure linup and accuracy. If you will notice the grip. The wrap around style was removed and one of my checkered front straps Tig welded in place. The rubber grips were then cut and cotoured to suite. The sight is a melted Wichitar and a post dovetailed front At this time I had my dropin Hammer designed and it brought the pull down to 4 1/2 lbs crisp with no creep This piece was finished with a satin Hard chrome and was a beauty. With the comp it felt like a 44 mag but not bad. Any questions I will try to answer
