Ruger Express rifle in 7mm?

Have a trade offer for a Ruger Express in 7mm Rem Mag. Looks great and have iron sights, which I like. Anyone have any first hand experience with the accuracy and quality of this rifle?

If accuracy isn't great, can anything be done to accurize using stock barrel (trigger job is probably a first step)?

I have one in 30/06 and it is one of the better production rifles I own. Timney makes a good trigger for them.

Hoser, I have owned a few myself and find they are pretty well made guns from the factory. As Dane said, you can replace the trigger with a Timney. If you really want to go the extra set you can contact John Lewis at Carolina Precision Rifles (www.cprifles.com). John's one of the very few riflesmiths that would work on a Ruger. Check out his website for more info.

Good Luck!
