My New HP, with Pics.

Met with a buddy today and did some dealin'.......

I've always loved HP's so this nicely blued MKIII with wood grips was very desirable. The high adjustable sights are kinda goofy, but they should be great for putting holes in paper and such. Got three 13 round, two 15, and one 17 round mags, the case, three sets of grips, and all papers.

It came with the receipt from Teddy J showing it has had an complete action job, Wolff springs installed, the breech face polished, the barrel crowned, the feed ramp polished, chamber contoured, trigger set at 5lbs, mag safety removed, all engagements re-cut, sear and thumb safety adjusted and the bore polished.

Something tells me that it will be a sweet shooter.

Here are a couple pics of it after I got it home:

Thanks in advance.

Best.

The sights had a red strip attached to the front sight that REALLY annoyed me. If lifted off with some help from my exacto knife, and revealed a jet black serrated ramp.

The sights function very well. They remind me of revolver sights, and I like that. Not the prettiest things I've ever seen, but they've kinda "grown" on me.

Who knows, I might replace them, I might not. I think I'll shoot the hell out of it first. 8)

Whatever I decide, I want adjustables.

Going shooting tomorrow!!!!! Oooooohhh weeeeeee baaaaaaaaby !

What capacity magazine do you have in the gun in the photo.

I was thinking about purchasing one of the 17 round mags Midway is selling for $23. I think they are made by KKD?

Anyway I just wanted to know if they were fairly flush fit.

That mag is a KRD 15 rounder. The 17's stick out about twice that much.
