| HP sights = 1911 sights?
I'm talking about the standard military sights, here. Will a 1911 stake-on front work on HP? Is the dovetail cut for the rear sight the same?

Hello. No, I believe the original dovetail cuts are different, including the tenon for the front sight. I don't have the figures at hand but while similar in design, they're not equivalent. Best. |

I BELIEVE THE FRONT SIGHT BLADE FOR THE HP IS A POST AND THE 1911 IS EITHER A WIDE OR NARROW TENON
