| Thumb safety for a Colt Mark IV Series 70 Govt
My Mark IV Series 70 Govt model needs a new "thumb safety". Colt wants to do the installation, but all I need is a replacement. Can you suggest to me a source of a qualtiy replacement? [the GI type} thanks,

Are you aware that the thumb safety does need to be "fit" to the sear? Not a difficult task, but if you haven't done it before it might be better to let Colt or a gunsmith do this. Liability issues aren't fun.

Yes sir, have done it, but on the safe side, my friend is a gunsmith. Thanks,
