Does anyone have one of the 1903 .32 ACP Colts, and a postal scale handy? Could you yell me what the slide assembly weighed? A few of us were wondering if a Modern Gun similar in Size/Weight/Action/Profile to The 1903..... Could conceivably have a heavy enough Slide to handle the 9mm, with a Blow-Back Action. {According to Bill Holmes, 10 Ounces is the Hard-Rock minimum for a 9mm Bolt; but he stressed that more was decidedly better in this case.} Anyway Thanks. Can't answer your question, but the Pocket Hammer 38 could easily handle 9x19, and it's even smaller than the '03. Regards, Walt |
