Colt Commercial $$

Guy's need some help. I am not as familiar as I would like to be with the old colt guns. I am TAD in VA and stoped in a local pawn shop and there is a 1911 manufactured around 1933 for sale ($450). The gun has been re-finished in a matt finish and seems to be original (as far as I know). It is difficult to tell how abused the gun was but seems to be in fair shape, some of the slide roll mark is not sharp and perfect and the frame to slide fit seems to be on par with the guns of my early day's in the ships armory, is that normal for the commercial guns?

Thanks for your help.
