| Colt National Match
I have a National Match that I suspect is post WWII. It has a four digit SN with no prefix or suffix. Where can I find info on these pistols? Thanks for any help. Jimmy Daniels |

Jimmy, Hmmm. A four digit SN with no prefix rules out prewar NM and no suffix rules out postwar GCNM. It might be a Super .38 frame with a .45 top end (I'm assuming it is a .45 ACP) but if you will post or email me with some more details I'll try to help figure it out. Kevin kevin@kwill.com BTW, I wrote a brief article that is posted on www.1911Info.com that may be helpful. |
