| New Police .32 DA mainspring
I have a New Police .32 DA sitting here with a broken mainspring. Where can I get a new one? I found one vendor that wanted ~$50 for a used original, this pistol isn't worth that investment. Is there any other model that has a mainspring that might interchange without too much hassle? |

The Colt "New Police" is basically the same gun as the Colt Police Positive and Police Positive Special While the parts DID change slightly over the years, the Police Positive was the basis for all the Colt small framed revolvers like the Detective Special. I "think" that a spring from an pre-war Police Positive or Police Positive Special will fit. Best bet is Jack First. You have to actually CALL them, but they are probably the best parts house.
