Witness 10mm compact spring question
I posted this on THR also ...
The gun is drastically under sprung. It has a double spring over guide rod. What do you think will happen if I install a high power .40 caliber single spring? I am going to call Wolfe and get some mag springs, some trigger springs and since they don’t make a 10mm compact spring I am going to get a 22 pound .40 SW spring for the compact. That should suffice also. Any opinions?

yeah, I called them also last week, and also was thinking about the 40S&W springs......I think sprinco.com is making a recoil buffer for the Witness compact, and it is close to being put on the market.......

FYI I put the 22lb spring in my EAA Witness Compact it runs very nice and you can tell a dramatic difference in the guns performance. Also if you have a factory magazine you may want to consider getting a +5% magazine spring.
