I'm thinking about getting a 9mm CZ G2000. Anyone tell me what they think of this pistol. I already own a 9mm SIG P220, .22 Hammerli, and a 45 Colt Gov. Model. Many thanks!
These are not "CZs" as the term is usually applied, but from the OTHER CZ, which makes the TT45 and some other guns, including a 1911 (sold only in Europe.)
Well I know its not a newly introduced pistol, it was introduced in 1991. I guess its unfortunate that its not avaliable in the US yet. I live in Canada, and have also never seen or heard of this pistol till one of our local merchants have started selling them. Its priced very fair at 600 CND, but I know nothing about this pistol, and was hoping someone could help with some advice. If anyone out there that knows anything...it would be greatly appreciated!! Unfortunately, here in Canada, there isn't much of a market for used pistols, so its hard for me to purchase it and then resell it if I don't like it.
Do a GOOGLE search on "CZ-G2000" or "CZ G2000" and you'll find that is made by Moravia Arms, *another* firm in the Czech Republic using the CZ nomenclature.
I first heard of it a year or so ago, and I thought the 2000 in the model name indicated a year 2000 introduction... But. it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong on this sort of topic.
Walt is right.....Its not a CZUB gun. Its from CZAmerica..."The real CZ" ba ha ha ha right! Sorry its a cool gun but they are trying to rip off the real real CZ in the process and will not give them any support.....
Shoot well.
