Hi folks. I just got a 97BD and I am having a problem with the bullet feeding. It looks to me like the bullet (230gr round nose) is hitting the slide stop on the way out of the mag causing the nose to tip down and hit the bottom of the feed ramp jamming the gun. Has anyone else had this problem? OAL length of cartridge is 1.27. Thanks in advance

The CZ97 usually has a excellent reputation fro reliability with full metal jacket ammo.
Until recently CZ did have a problem with the 97 having problems with hollow point ammo.
A trip back the US office fixed that, then CZ apparently started correcting the new manufacture guns to eliminate the problem.

My suggestion is to try some different ammo ESPECIALLY if you using re-loaded ammo.
If it's factory ammo and changing to a different brand doesn't fix it, return it to CZ-USA for warranty repair.

Welcome to a great forum. Regards.

Sorry to hear of your issues. Perhaps a call to CZ customer service for a slide stop, dont know if they will have to fit it. Bummer if you have to send it in.
