Is there a way to convert a CZ75B to SA only?

Thanks.

Yes. Mike at CZUsa.com can help you do this, or you can search the "Home Gunsmithing" forum on CZForum.com for the information on the process for DIY. Looked pretty involved to me.

I've heard this gives you a better trigger.

I am also thinking about converting my 75B to SAO and have few questions about it.

Which parts differ from 75B SA to normal 75B?
What kind of adjustments does SAO trigger offer?
How much is trigger pull weight with stock SAO trigger?
Are there any shops willing to ship parts into Finland, finnish importer of CZ is not very helpful with these kind of modifications and seems not to import SAO model at all and CZ-USA has not yet responded into my emails.

My goal is to get smaller trigger travel and trigger resistance into about 2.5 pounds.

Thanks,
Kimmo

I can't help you with trigger weights (weight of pull) but know that weight is more a function of springs than anything else. (Smoothing the trigger pull will make it FEEL lighter, but it may end up being only a little lighter.)

There are metal CZ SA triggers that are adjustable for both overtravel and takeup. It is that second function you want, to shorten the trigger pull itself. Be careful when ordering and avoid the plastic trigger.

A couple of folks on the CZ Forum, over the years have ordered a "Champion" sear and hammer to get the greatly improved trigger pull; I don't think that any of those shooters still participate there.

I don't know where you can get the triggers, except directy from CZ... (The EAA line uses a similar trigger, but the trigger pin diameter is different between the CZ and EAA line.
