| DW Pointman Ausi (The Trojan Invader)
Here is a shot of my box stock Dan Wesson Ausi in .45 ACP. This is one from the first run with the engravings "United we Stand + Brothers in Battle". All of the newer ones that I have seen have bare slides. The closest production 1911 that I have seen that compares is the STI Trojan. They both exhibit similar fit finish and accuracy. |

yup the flyer is a bummer, but I was pretty happy with this target. It was at 20 yards off hand. I was shooting 230 grain Winclean ammo, the older stuff with the large primers and oversized flash hole.

I think $550-$600 is a fair price for a new Ausi. If your looking check out the Dan Wessons on Gunbroker the direct sales items from DW_Direct are a little bit more but they are well worth the extra $ in my opinion. Take a look you'll see what I mean.
