dan wesson grips

I want to buy a new set of grips for my 8" Dan Wesson 15-2. I am picking the gun up tomorrow. I would like a set of Hogue wood grips but they say small frame .357 square tang or they say Large frame .44, .357. I do not know what a 15-2 is. I am guessing the small frame but maybe wrong.

What exactly is a 15-2 frame size and tang?

The 15-2 is the smaller frame model.
The most common large frame was the W44.

Thanks dfariwheel. I ended up ordering the Hogue rubber grip for it. The reason for the rubber grip was the stock wooden was hard to hold onto in the heat of the day to slick and also to much felt recoil.

Wet and cold, hot and sweaty, or bloody, nothing holds like rubber, and the Hogue is very good.

I like the style and checkered wood look of the original DW grip on my 15-2. But is there or has anyone found a similar looking grip that is just a little physically smaller than the original grip size. My hand has a job to wrap around this handle !
