the finish on Glocks and the HE finish on USPs?

Are the finishes on Glocks and the HE finish on USPs the same?

I don't believe they are quite the same, but have some of the same characteristics. The Glock has a tennifer finish, even if you wear off the blackening, the tennifer is still embedded in the metal and therefore will not rust. It is similar on the HK, but my preference would be towards the Glock finish. The HK seems to be fairly durable...unlike finishes on Sigs, etc.
