| RIA 38 Super 1911
Was looking to buy a 22 conversion for my RIA 38 Super 5" 1911. Anybody know if it exsists? I'm new to this forum. Hope to learn and enjoy our interactions. thanks in advance

I've never tried to use a 22LR conversion on a 38 super pistol. My Kimber target conversion slide states that it will NOT work in place of a RAMPED barrel. Is yours a ramped barrel? Ray |

There are conversion kit available. The problem is the ejector. Most kits work with the .45ACP ejector and may not have clearance in the slide for the .38Super. (The RIA .38Super I have does not have a ramped barrel.) |
