hi-point 9mm pistol
I read the input on this forum about the Hi-Point 9mm carbine. I would like some input about their 9mm pistol. I'm looking for a 9mm for plinking and seen one in a local gun shop. The owner said his brother uses one all the time and likes it, but want a more independent opinion.

Never owned one myself but I've shot a friends of mine quite a few times. I've found them less than reliable with "carry ammo" that he has tried. Of course, he may not have found the right one yet. It functioned flawlessly with ball. Not the first hiccup! It was a lot of fun to shoot and I would definitely purchase it over some of the other budget guns. I have the carbine and its been a great little gun.
Overall-For fun okay but for carry, save your money and invest in a better quality firearm.
