Crown City was an early maker of cast steel and stainless steel 1911 parts and guns.

They offered several models based on the Government Model and Commander Model, and used bird names for them.
I seem to remember the Falcon, Eagle, and Hawk.

Quality was fair to poor, due to the standard early cast parts problems.
Many early makers had problems with their castings having voids, blurred areas, or "slumps" in the casting, or being warped.

Many Crown City guns and parts were usable, but the poor quality of the cast frames, slides, and other parts put them out of business after a few years.

By no means were all Crown City guns dogs.
Many of them gave excellent service.

The only way to tell what you've got is to look it over and shoot it.
