Strike One warranty repair or not?
I have been using an AF Strike Onesence the middle of summer, its been a great pistol to shoot. I have fired maybe 1500 rounds so far. Cleaning it after my last trip to the range a small part of the polymer support broke off.
First pic shows the part that broke off
Here you can see where it came from
Here you can see the front lower part of the slide that strikes the affected area.
I have no doubt that the pistol will keep working even when the polymer part is completely gone, but it will start to strike against the metal and that might break it loose from the polymer frame.
The pistol is under a one year warranty, I need some opinions. Do you guys think they will replace the frame? Anything I could do to prevent it from happening again?

If that area is the recoil shoulder, they'll have to replace it.
It's not uncommon for polymer pistols to shed small bits of plastic, but that doesn't look good.
I'd insist they pay for shipping both ways, and if you have to go through an FFL to get a new frame, I'd insist they pay a reasonable fee for that.
There's nothing you did or didn't do that could have caused or prevented it.

I talked to one of the technicians, he claimed that this part is used for alignment during manufacturing and its ok for it to get broken off. He said they would pay for shipment and repair, but all they would do is remove it.
I guess i'll let it go for now. Still have 9 months on the full warranty, but the guy said they would replace the frame if it failed even after that.
