| Three High Standards Need Work
I am posting this for my father, he has three High Standards that are in various states of disrepair and non-functionality. Details: 1. Supermatic Citation 103; Problem: won’t fire, no idea why 2. High Standard HD Militar; Fires intermittently, fires every third round. 3. High Standard HB; Missing slide release knob. If anyone knows a reputable gunsmith that can work on these weapons, please let me know. jamesemyers76@gmail.com Many thanks. |

Your first stop is to contact High Standard and ask about repairs. I'm fairly sure they'll repair the Citation, but I'm not sure about the older models. http://www.highstandard.com/ If HS can't help you, a good custom shop for repairs is Cylinder & Slide Shop. They're a world class custom shop that offer top of the line work. Prices are higher and turnaround can be slow due to the demand for their services, but the work is quality.
