Ambidextrous Safety

I've got a USP 45 on order. I'm a lefty. Supposedly the USP can have an ambidextrous safety. Do I need to get a lever for it or does the right hand one work?

You have two options with the USP.

1. You can convert it to Variant 2. Variant 2 (or 4, 6, or 10) moves the lever from the gun's left side to its right side. It requires a new lever. The new lever is about $25.

2. You can have the ambidextrous kit installed. It has two new levers. The kit is about $65.
