Hello.

Has anyone had any experience with the Sureshot laser and LED sight? I saw it in a magazine ad for the USP. I have a USP 40 Compact and I emailed the company, and they said the unit fits on the accessory rails without extending past the end of the barrel. I know that the tactical light that HK sells for the USP fits the full size well and extends past the end of the barrell of the compact. Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I too would like more information on this product. How well does the Led light work?
The laser used is it a good one, whats the rated range? I know i can contact the makers, but i would prefer hearing a actual user, Anyone who knows more or has one of these please post a reply or email me! thanks

I just purchased the SureShot2 laser sight for my H&K USP 9mm compact. It's powered by 3 watch battery style cells. The blue led lights are very powerful considering how compact it is. Ajustments are easy to make to the sights. However, I am taking this back to the dealer tomorrow. Why, because of a design flaw. The on/off switch is too fragile for everyday (or even once in a while handling), it broke off within hours of purchase. No excessive force was used, I just went to turn the light on and it broke. Other than this flaw, I would be very happy with this laser sight.

I have been using this product on and off for a year. Here is a review:
Positives:
1. LED lights work excellent
2. Unit mounts securely to the rail on USP
3. Low cost system w/pressure pad
Negitives:
1. Very unreliable, shock damages unit
2. Pressure pad very difficult to position and engage.
3. Laser falls out of allignment within 10 shots.
4. 3 screw adjustment and not enough of it

The concept of this unit is great--see what you are shooting at and know (and they know) where the bullet is going to go. The problems start when you actually do shoot. If you want a good toy to play with your cats with, this is it. If you want an accurate laser sight that will stay accurate; spend the money for the HK module.
