Registration for the Golden Gate IDPA Championship (a Sanctioned match) is now open. This year's match will be held at the Bay Area's own Richmond Rod & Gun Club in Richmond, CA.

Golden Gate IDPA Championship

The match will include 11 stages, 150 competitor slots, and nearly 22,000 rounds expended over two days. We will also have a large prize table and a Sunday BBQ lunch included with the registration fee.

The dates are Friday, May 20th through Sunday, May 22nd. Safety Officers and Staff will shoot on Friday, with the main competition taking place Saturday. Side matches and awards will take place on Sunday.

The match will be open to all classifications (including Novice), and you will need to have shot a Classifier Match in the division in which you wish to compete after May 20, 2010 (requirement not applicable to "Master" classification).

This is a great opportunity to take part in a major shooting competition, even if you don't consider yourself a "championship" shooter. We encourage you to consider competing and enjoying a great day of shooting and fun.

If you wish to be entered in our Early Registration Drawing (winner receives a Streamlight TLR-2S weapon light), you must be registered for the match by this Friday (March 11th).
