New *CLEAR* holsters for Kahr's

I found this HOLSTER and need help from fellow Kahr owners to help get these folks into production. I've inquired about their making holsters for Kahrs, and rec'd a response from 'Frank' that they have plans to tool up for Kahr's at some point, but if there's a demand, I'm hoping that he'll do it sooner than later. By the way, other products from CenDex can be found HERE.

I like leather for my guns expect for pocket carry. I use an Uncle Mike's or a Mika's for my pocket guns,

I'm holding out for the clear holster with flashing LEDs on it.

On the serious side, I don't like the way it looks. I'll stick with leather and std. black. It just seems wierd to me to see the whole gun.

I’m not into “clear” myself… I’m not into leather either. One of the reasons you purchase the Kahr is for its thinness, then you go out & wrap it with a ¼(+) inch of leather?

I've got an Alessi WSDT for my K9 and I'd say that it's as thin as most "plastic" holsters, and much more aesthetically pleasing.

I bet you my kydex FIST is thinner harrydog!

I do own a few leather holsters, but just have a hard time excepting their break-in period, maintenance, debris holding fibers, wear characteristics on firearms, thickness, squeaky sounds, smell & their lack of being able to deal with moister.

Michigun, You don't like the smell of leather??? Thats the best part of a new holster or pair of boots. Kinda like the best part of a new vehicle is the new car smell. If they made a perfume that smelled like leather mixed with campfire my wife would need a firehose to keep me away.

Thanks for the replies...

I'm looking for plastic holsters for my MK40. Leather has never been good for me, especially with grit issues. Besides, maintenance is always something I try to avoid if I can, and to keep leather healthy requires maintenance and care well beyond what plastic demands.

Regarding the clear holsters, I'm liking the clear concept, because I believe that the clear material helps break up outlines, and blends in with the surroundings better than standard black. For me, this is important, because I intend to carry open (the only recognized and legal form of carring in Wisconsin), and I'd like to do as much as I can to avoid attention. Hence, I'm interested in giving the clear a try.
