| IWB for PM9
I am looking for an IWB holster for my PM9. I currently have the Alessi Talon Plus on order from Kahr with a 12 week wait. They also have the Rosen Clipper for the same price and I don't think there is a wait. Is the Talon Plus worth the wait? Has anyone compared the two? Thanks, Mike |

Mike- Although I don't have a Talon Plus for a Kahr (Don't even own a Kahr) I do have a Hard Shell Talon for a S&W J-frame and one for a Colt Commander. It is well worth the wait, as is anything from Lou. Hope this helps some. Sorry I couldn't be more pistol/holster specific. |

mikemuirhead, I've been carrying IWB for years. I've tried a bunch of these holsters and found a used Talon for my J frame. It's the best IWB that I've ever had. I stumbled onto a Talon for a 1911 and grabbed it, too. I think it's worth the wait, John |

I had a Talon+ for my PM9. Didn't like it. Sold it and got an Alessi Watch Six Dual Talon for a P9. Conceals better and more comfortable than the Talon+ and I can use it for either pistol.

I'll add my kudos for the Alessi Talon Plus for the PM9. It was well-worth the 3 month wait. I've had it now for two months. It's the most comfortable IWB I've ever had and it just seems to get better and better. From many postings on this and other boards, Mr. Alessi stands solidly behind his products. Patience is NOT my strong suit, but I'm glad I waited. Stealth |

I bought a Cross Breed IWB for my Kahr PM40. It seems to be a fairly well made holster and I would recommend taking a look at them.

Shortly after getting my PM9, I bought the Mitch Rosen IWB holster through Kahr. I was almost immediately unhappy with it because it cracked in several places and, while it didn't fall all apart, it seemed just too stiff and fragile to continue with. Next I bought a "glove-soft" tuckable IWB from High Noon Holsters and have been VERY pleased with it for nearly a year and a half. This link takes one there . . . . . http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_Lin ... ision.html (They have several models for all kinds of pistols). |

Agree with you on the Mitch Rosen, plus F.I.S.T Kydex ain't much better (splits, and rivet breakage). Kramer is a high quality piece. Have never had a prob with any of their stuff.

If you aren't insisting on leather and Kydex is something you could live with, I'd highly recommend the KyTac BraveHeart IWB holster. Noted firearms instructor John Farnam is known to agree that this is one of the best IWB holsters going. http://www.kytac.com/page3.html |

Kydex: Comp-tac and Blade-tech both make excellent kydex holsters for the PM9. I have both, and it would be tough to choose which is really "better".

I have a Desantis 'Tuck This' IWB for my CW45 that has mixed reviews. I used it as a holster for a while but never became accustomed to it. I use it for another gun related purpose because it was cheap to begin with and it does hold the pistol well. I have also been beguiled by the claims and reports of the Cross Breed IWB. I ordered one of their 'Super Tuck Deluxe' jobs and am looking forward to it showing up at my door. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/ |
