| custom eclipse ID
I saw a custom eclipse II last night but I am having some trouble figuring out which it is. The sights are fixed but not night sights. There was no checkering on the front strap. The grips were the laminate type but with the kimber signature on them. 5" barrel with "CUSTOM ECLIPSE II" on the slide. This is a new gun but the black oxide finsh has a couple of good size scratches in it. Anyone had any luck cleaning these up? Thanks for any info. |

I had what appeared to be scratches on the flat black of my kimber ultra. As it turned out they were marks from exiting brass. They cleaned of with a brass brush and a little elbow greese. Good luck.
