| Excellent defensive target acquisition night sights
If anybody has a Kimber they carry and are looking for excellent night target acquisition sights, these are it. I put them on my Pro Carry II and love them for defensive shooting (as I would imagine it) but I use the gun for target shooting as well and I don’t care for them for that purpose and would like to replace them. I paid $110.00+ plus freight but am willing to let them go for a reasonable offer if you’re interested. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tnumber=140810 I cant imagine a better night sight except a laser but a laser needs turned on (easy as that is) but under the stress of an attack that turn on might be a barrier; these are on all the time and very bright at night. Now if I was shooting a BG a couple of times a month at night I would defiantly keep them but I want to be able to use this gun for target shooting too. Now that’s not to say they are no good for target; just not for me for target as I’m a bit of a perfectionist as my Avatar with a 5 shot hand held group demonstrates and these sights aren’t for that kind of shooting. Check out the videos on the use of the sights and see if they are your cup of tea then PM me if you’re interested. That's what I got to replace the "Dot the I" sights. I still think they're excellent sights but just not a good fit for me. |
