| Alloy-frame ramps
Dumb question time; Can you polish the ramp on an Alloy-frame Kimber? I'm having feed trouble with lead bullets. It feeds FMJs fine but lead bullets seem to catch on the ramp.

really not a good idea . If you polish through the anodizing then nothing left but very soft aluminum find a smith and have him fix your extractor also change magazines to a Wilson or Chip Mccormick |

Thanks, I was hoping I'd be able to correct this. I'll run another couple hundred FMJs through, maybe it'll smooth out some. I'l grab some McCormick's too.

Never use mccormick mags in an alluminum frame gun , it will nick it up with on feedramp. Use wilson, plastic follower better for allumnum frame frame guns. Trust me messed up my cdp Kimber.
