I've used tools from Gerber, SOG, Leatherman, and Buck. IMHO none compare to those by Leatherman. Some of the other companies have made notable innovations, but if you're looking for a finely crafted tool, get a Leatherman Wave  .

I have had several Leatherman tools currently have a Wave and a Supertool. The supertool lives in my shooting box and the Wave rides on my hip opposite my CZ75. CAnt go wrong with them as far as I am concerned. |

I have owned multi-tools from SOG, Leatherman, Buck, and Gerber. The Gerber is my absolute favorite of anything I have tried. I especially like the way you snap/slide the unit open!! Makes things very easy when you only have one hand available to use the tool. I highly recommend teh Gerbers. |
