New Becker Combat Bowie comments and pics.
I got my Becker Combat Bowie last week and it was hair shaving sharp out of the box! As a small test I chopped through eight 4x4's and was still shaving sharp afterwards. Excellent chopping ability, great edge holding ability and excellent feel and balance despite it's size. Even though it is a large knife it feels smaller when your using it.
I'd say it's a best buy for $60!!! In fact I think I'll buy another one!
On some recent reviews the smaller BK7 Combat Utility hung in there with knives costing 5 times as much!
Here's a link for the review. Becker C/U 7 Review

Top view of the handle. I was actually thinking of getting some after market scales but the factory ones felt really good.

I have a Becker Crewman, 5.5" blade - same story: GREAT knife, small price! Everyone ought to have 2 or 3 Beckers, given their prices.

Awesome bang-for-the-buck blade. I have 2 of the BK7's. I roughed up the grip scales slightly with course grit sand paper, and it made a big difference for me.
