I like 'em for the $. It is what you'd expect it to be, but it could be a good sleeper gun. I am finally coming to terms with the fact that like a house, the foundation is massively important. THere is no way to put enough guts in anything to make up for a lesser slide/frame. I really think the best pistols are built from quality slides and frames and then quality guts. Bear in mind I have built a couple Armscor 1911s that were nice little sleeper guns for little investment. Still, I would prefer to go Colt or SPringer and mod as I could. WHat are your intentions for it? |

My first 1911 style. Wish I could go for a Kimber or SA, but the budget is too small.

Yeah. Springers and Colt's are my faves, I think. This is a good way to feel out the platform without spending long dough, though.
