| Trigger reset
I have a SA 1911 GSP with over 3000 rounds. Have experienced a new intermittant malfunction. After going through a full mag,the trigger fails to reset on the last round. A slight tap on the mag floor plate will usually reset it and allow the last round to fire normally. Am using Chip McCormick 8rd power mags. Any ideas??? |

I have one... I would check to see that the trigger bows aren't protruding into the magazine well. I would also see if the magazine is shifting in the well. Making sure that the trigger channel in the frame is clear would probably be a good thing, too. Do you have any other magazines that you can check it with? Hope this helps. |
