The firing pin spring is not going to affect the DA trigger pull. The hammer spring calibration pak from Wolff is your best bet for that. I'm fine with the 11# hammer spring. You can always manually cock the pistol, if that first shot is hard to make in DA . I like a reasonably hard DA pull, it makes for a safer carry gun.

PA-63 slide stop issue.

I have a PA-63. My issue is that the slide stop falls out of the gun when i fieldstrip it. There is also a ding on the inside of the stop about 4-5 mm back of the pivot point. I need to know what holds this part on the frame. the manual I was able to acquire isn't very clear on this subject. I like this gun and would like to be sable to resume using it as my carry piece. Any thoughts?

The spring on the slide stop , fitting in a groove on the slide is all that I can see holding it in. Might try a different slide stop assembly, if you can find one.
