| Bulgie Mak Grip screw binding on mag
I just picked up my new bulgie mak and even though it is caked with cosmo i can tell by removing the grip screw that it is binding the mag and making it dang tough to go in. I am getting some pearce grips and hoping that this will take care of that problem as a by-product, however, if it doesnt I guess my only choice is to find a shorter screw or what???

| You can try this
Borodin, You can either file the screw down a little bit or do what I do and put a washer between the grip and the mainspring retainer and that should do it. I don't like to shorten the screws if I don't have to. Gary |

I too had the same problem with mine the other day... couldn't figure out why the mag wouldn't go back in. So, I was forced to back it out just enough, but it did seem a rather odd design flaw. (?)

| could be
Might I ask if they were the fluted screws? If so there are two different lengths. They could have been mis matched by mistake considering how many times these pistols may be examined before you get them. Gary |

Well, it's fluted, as is the one on my E.G., so it's anybody's guess if it's the right length or not. (obviously "not") :-?
