New in Michigan
Hi I'm new here, I'm looking forward to making friends and learning as much as possible about guns and 1911's in particular; I also have some custom cutlery background so I have a bit of knowledge in working with metal and the finishing of such.

Welcome N.D. Glad to see someone with experience in the Blade world. Might be worth a spin to hit up Wild Bill about the Bladesmith days. I've been in his shop.....more damascus (think that is the correct term) steel laying around on the floor than most folks will ever see. Forges, air hammers, finishing equipment.....you name it, it is there. I just haven't hit the right nerve to get him back into the art yet.
Get him talking knives.........bring lunch!
