I'm retired military, 4 years US Marine Corps, 16 years US Army, NRA Life Member since 1970. I shot pistol for 3rd armored Div, 3rd Infantry Div, the US CENTO Team, 5th Army, 3rd Army, US Army Europe. I shot service rifle for US Army Europe, 1st Army, been to two military sniper schools and ran one, shot on a national record setting service pistol team, shot on the US Army Europe championship pistol team and the All Army championship pistol team. I shot on the US Army Europe championship rifle team. I was the NCOIC of the All Army Eastern Region Rifle Team when I retired. I've been to the national match rebuild and maintenance course at Rock Island Arsenal. I retired from the military in 1979. Yup, I'm getting old.
