Whats up with Para Parts Dept?
Okay here is the story. Always wanted one. Bought a P1445 "Limited" about a month and a half ago. Got aqainted and did four pistol shoots with it. Loving it! Last Saturday shot it and had a great run.
Come home fin the large pin the rear adjustable sight pivots on is gone. No big deal i figure. Call Para is small its a new gun....I like the gun....be nice and ask hey this little pin came out? Can you send me new one?
I get told flat out NO! Send us the slide and we will look it over. My flat out response was......NO! Its a simple little pin. Really? We proceeded to argue back an forth and I eventually got hung up on.
So I spent $1000 on a gun and cant get one little $2 part replaced without sending away for an unknown amount of time. Sending it away will cost me more than the pin. I even offered to buy a new pin. They wouldn't let me buy one.
What incompetent customer service. I would understand if there was a major part which needed fixed just because of lawyers and liability issues. But a pin on a sight!

Sorry for the bad experience on a good gun.
A lot of companies are starting to require the gun/parts back to avoid liabilities/issues with botched installments. You'd think they would let you just waiver any warranty on that part.
