Paul Liebenberg

What happened to an older thread titled Paul Liebenberg? It seems to have been deleted while other, older threads still remain.
I wanted to contact the person who had posted that he has several Liebenberg pistols.
Anyone who has one, please contact me.

Sounds like a Want To Buy. IF it is, you're in the wrong forum.

No, it was a discussion about Liebenberg and his pistols and was quite a long thread. I believe it was about 1 year ago.
I've used the search function and it is nowhere to be found.

It was a good thread but I couldn't find it either.

I spoke with his shop a short while back.
He should soon be done with the specs for the "modern" Combat Special and is making a limited series of the classic Ross Seyfried Combat Special as well.

Check your PMs.

cheers,
Aggie

The thread is over a year old and in the archives. No one in the thread admits to owning one of Paul's guns, although several who commented had them on order.

There is one in the for sale forum currently.

"He should soon be done with the specs for the "modern" Combat Special and is making a limited series of the classic Ross Seyfried Combat Special as well. "

FWIW Seyfried's original pair of guns were built by Craig Wetstein as were most of the original CSs.

harrydog, Have you got your gun yet? I have been looking at his guns for some time now. They look first class! What is paul charging for his high end gun? If I call him, I know i will order one.
thanks ej45

Yes, I finally got my pistol after a wait of about 11 months and I'm very happy with it.
I'm not sure why, (maybe Paul's beavertail grip safety) but this pistol is more natural feeling in my hand and more comfortable to hold than any other 1911 I've ever held.
The workmanship is of course flawless.
The cost will vary greatly depending on exactly what you want. He offers lots of different options.
He only produces a small number of the guns and you get lots of individual attention from Paul himself.
I really like the interchangeable front sight. It allows me to easily change from fiber optic, gold bead, tritium, white dot, etc., for varying conditions.
I'll try to post some pictures if I ever take the time to figure out how.
Give him a call!!
