Custom Hi Power near completion.

I have been working on this Hi Power for sometime. It is pretty much full house. Final assembly and tuning and it will be done. I was just too excited about the excellent Tripp hard chrome that I could not resist posting before it was finished.
C&S sear and type II hammer
C&S extended safety
C&S extended slide stop
Frame to slide tightening
Full accurracy and liability work
4 lb trigger
C&S Combat trigger
Novak bar/dot tritium sights
Hard chromed mag tubes for two 13 and one 17 rounder
Pretty much anything and everything that can be done to a high power short of a Barsto barrel.
Front bushing was thinned to allow for stippling and then silver soldered internally for strength.

Thanks to Virgil Tripp for an outstanding hard chrome finish.

Enjoy!!

Jess

Thank you for the coninued privelage of posting here.

Enjoy!!

Jess

Awesome. What ideas for sights? Nevermind, I just saw the Novaks listed. I dig the stocks, too. Really good job.

Okay, this thread is beyond zombie-coming-back-from-the-dead weird. Note that Jess started it in October of '06, then came back this month and asked himself how the gun shot..!! Trouble is he didn't answer himself.

Jess, be careful with that time machine you're using, make sure the flux capacitor is operating properly.

I figured as such Jess. No harm in bumping your old thread--it's not like this forum is jammed to the rafters with traffic.
