I could have put this down in WILD BILL which back in Pistolsmiths Glory days was Wild Bill View From the Hills......If You like music Go to Wings Records.com Scroll down to almost the bottom....Ed Dettenheim , owner of the site recorded Janis and Myself , live , one take on each song , nothin fancy , all acoustic....music the way it was 50/75 years ago.....chairs draggin cross floor as more people come in...coughin....talkin between pickers....I was playin My D28 Martin, Tommy Gore on His Martin , Ed Dettenheim on a Gibson 185...thanks Tommy an Ed....We all swaped up on lead...Janis can play more Bass on a Washtub Bass than most can on an electric Fender P and sang with the best of the women country sangers....all this recorded with a small recorder layin in a chair...nothin fancy

WOW, Wild Bill ! ! ! Well worth the trip. Gazin' upon that handsome face of yours, and coupled with your CONSIDERABLE croonin' & pickin' abilities--it becomes obvious to even this ol' one eyed geezer why you're in soooo much hot water. You are a friggin' CHICK MAGNET ! ! !

Thanks Joe...Usually or the way We recorded live back in the late 50s early 60s, both Janis an I would have been mic d....I would have like for Her to be more out front than I was , I've worked for and with a bunch of women country singers I think Janis is the best woman sanger I've ever seen or heard , The lady don't know how good She really is but anyway I'm glad You liked the music. This is just a bunch of musicians from the North La. area that gather at the Homer Fire Station every Fri. nite ,it's fun , never know who is gonna show up.....Gatherins like this was a big thing back in the old days , still a FUN thing
