| High Standard Rear Sight Removal
I need to remove a rear sight (the bridge type) from a High Standard Supermatic Citation. I see two blind roll pins, one on each side and one roll pin in the rear, and one pin/screw that has a head on both sides of ths sight that all hold the rear sight in place. Does anyone know how to remove this sight without damage to the sight or the frame? Don't really care about the roll pins or the headed screw, I can make replacements on lathe. I'm new to this forum, thanking you in advance. |

It's been so long since I had one off, I just can't remember. What I'd recommend is emailing or calling High Standard and asking them how to remove the sight. The roll pins are just positioning pins to insure a solid mounting that won't shift. High Standard Weapons and Arms Manufacturing Company |
