| CBC brass?
I found a good amount of .45 ACP brass at the range the other day. The stamp appears to be "CBC". It looks OK. Is anyone familiar with this brass? What is its quality? If its as good as it looks, I'd like to buy some. Anyone know where to get it?

1911wb, The CBC Brass is MagTech. I've loaded bunches of it in 45ACP and haven't run into any problems. It's a little hard, but at 45 presures it's not a problem. Hope this helps, Bert |

Roger that, CBC is Magtech. No problems reloading at all. load it and keep shooting! |

CBC means "Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos" (Brazilian Cartridge Company). Magtech is the CBC mark to products sold outside Brazil. Note: if the mark CBC is in upper (12-hour) position and the caliber is marked in lower (6-hour) position on the brass, the primer is of Berdan type. When the caliber is in 12-hour position and the CBc mark is in 6-hour position, the primer is of Boxer type. |

| CBC Brass
I reload 45 AUTO for my son and he brings in lots of brass from the range. Some of this brass has had the CBC headstamp. The brass has good weight and reforms smoothly, but the primer pockets are always fairly loose. No primers have popped out, but this is a concern. I have heard that CCI primers will fit a little tighter than other brands and that should help. I do not use CCI primers so I can't verify this. I would say the CBC is good brass, even with this one caveat.
