During the 1950's, I found that a 208 grain H&G 68 bullet wa the most accurate. I used a light load of Bullseye, which is a better choice for light loads than Unique. Powders are not precisely the same as they were in the fifties, so pick your favorite manual and begin with the low load marked most accurate.
Revolver shooters who used Unique in the fifties used to elevate the muzzle between shots to drop the powder back against the primer.. Bullseye ignites and burns more evenly in an autoloader. But, you meed the 10 pound recoil spring for certainty of function with light loads. And, stick to the 200 grain bullets, since the 230's will have to have the rear sight elevation changed a bit for 50 yard shooting after your 25 yard strings.

Many,
3.5 grains of Bullseye. Increase if necessary to get your NM to function. Maximum load is 5.0 but don't use that much if you can avoid it and the gun still work.
Some books and shooters will say more.
But they do not shoot those old guns or live where spare parts may be hard to get.
