| Taurus Revolver cylinder stop plunger
The cylinder stop plunger and spring came out of my Taurus .44mag and sprang away to who knows where. I called Taurus and they were more than happy to send me a new one, but they were backordered and didn't know when they might get one. Any ideas on where else to look to find one? Or maybe two?

You may have some success checking with gun shops for broken or blown up Taurus guns being used for parts. As the parts you are looking for do not normally wear out (although the spring often gets bent up a bit) they would still be good on an otherwise dead Taurus. The shop where I buy my parts had a blown up one on display for example and would probably be happy to sell some parts out of it. (no reflection on the strength of the Taurus, it was bad ammo and idiot owner that caused the blow up, not Taurus' fault) Just a thought. Louie |
