| Just bought p89...shooting 2 feet low....help!!!
I just bought a p89 and shot it for the 1st time yesterday. It is very clean and barely shot. I unloaded 2 clips 25 yards away and missed the whole target. I was wondering what was going on. I then aimed about 2-3 feet above the target and then started hitting it. Even then my shots were still low. Can I fix this problem with different bullets or tinkering with the stock sights? If not, I was looking up different sights and found some nice ones around the $40-50 range fully adjustable. What does everyone recomend for aftermarket sights? I was shooting 115gr winchester, remington, and WOLF just because i can get them for $5 a box of 50. They all shot the same.....very low. 2-3 feet below the target. Thanks for any info. Shane |

Try some heavier ammo. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with mine until I started feeding it "The Good Stuff". You'll find it's alot better then.

Ok I fixed the problem. I just had to get use to the gun. Now even with the cheap stuff im shooting some tight groups. I went through about 1000 rounds already with the gun and had no problems. I love my P89.

The Wolf Ammo Is Garbage thats why its so cheap, mine is worked, trigger work dual recoil spring and a barso barrel that i ported my self and cut relifes in the slide and with hydra shocks i can get a 1.5" group at 50 yards using pt night sights, with wolf ammo i cant do better then 2.5" and they are all left about 3 clicks,so stick to good ammo i use win fmj for target and hydro shock for defense, hope this helps[/quote]

| shooting low with you p89
Remember its not where your aiming when you pull the trigger but its where you are aiming when the hammer hits that matters. I heard rugers have alot of breakover, just train for it and youll be fine. |
