Home build - what size tap to use for barrel

I have all the parts for a Mrk 1 and was going to buyild a custom receiver. My only question was the size of tap I need to tap the front end of the receiver for the barrel. Thanks.

do you have a barrel? you can check the threads that way to see if you can get a tap or have to have one made or to get it machine threaded.
