Isn't metal gear some kind of game or toy?
Any road, the FAMAS is a 5.56x45 assault rifle and is no less powerful or accurate than any other current military weapon. It is not now legal to import to the USA so the few here are very expensive if you can find one for sale.

yea metal gear was a video game made back in 99 (i think). played it when i was like 14. guess that shows my age huh? yea i'm young. just got in to the whole gun world. cant wait to turn 21 so I can purchase my first handgun. i like old war rifles.fixing to get my first nagant. have acouple sks' an ak. a 10/22. and a 995 in 9mm. i bought because the price was right 75$ so why not. its fun to shoot but i wouldnt trust my life to it. also want a 12ga. but i cant decde if i want a pump acton or an auto. anyway thank you for your insight. i'm still new to this so forgive me if i ask alot of questions. my father was into guns but he is nolonger with me so i have nobody to talk gun chat with. and i wouldent trust anyone i know with a gun so that leaves only the knowledgeable people of pistolsmth.com.
